That’s Sew Hilo!
Designer Fashion Exhibit
Saturday, March 8, 2025 • Temple Children Art Studio
The That’s Sew Hilo! Fashion Exhibit is a curated showcase of Hawai‘i Island’s fashion history and its evolution into the present day. Featuring iconic garments from Hawai‘i’s past, you’ll also see cultural attire that celebrates the island's multicultural heritage.
In addition to historical pieces, the exhibit includes garments from today’s prominent local designers, showcasing how they continue to carry forward the traditions of craftsmanship and self-expression through their creations.
The exhibit opens on Saturday, March 8 and will be open on select days throughout March. We invite you to explore the legacy of fashion in Hilo and witness firsthand how clothing has empowered women and reflected our island’s diversity, creativity, and innovation over time.
Temple Children, a Hilo-based but globally reaching arts and sustainability collective. Zonta Club of Hilo is proud to host this one-of-a-kind experience in a space that fosters artistic exploration and pursuits in our community.
