Building a better world for women and girls.

The Zonta Club of Hilo was established in 1950, and is part of Zonta International, which envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. We advance this vision locally through service projects like Magnificent Me Young Girls Conference, Amelia Earhart Girls in Engineering Day, academic scholarships, advocacy, and more.

Fashion Frenzy

is a signature Zonta Hilo event, creating a unique venue that celebrates local designers and women-owned businesses, and connects them to community. This party with a purpose raises funds for Zonta Hilo Club projects that support, empower, and uplift women and girls across Hawai‘i Island.
